Free Workout Friday: Theraband Workout #3 Triceps, Hip Core Stabilizers


Here's my guest coach, Nicole Miller, who joined us on the 365fitt Healthy Active Living Trip to Captiva Island, FL February 1-8, 2014.  Nicole is demonstrating for us a great combination using an overhead triceps press with the theraband with a leg abduction.  Of course, this is awesome for that wiggly, jiggly triceps (not you, right?), but when you add the leg abduction, you work on strengthening the hip, outer thigh and core you get a multi-dimensional workout, not to mention super how great it is for your balance!  Incorporate these into your workout, performing 10 on each side (less if you're new to this exercise).  Also, if you're new to this exercise, you can do them singly.  If you're more advanced, do them standing on a BOSU.  Watch your form and focus on quality!
